Allow Statement of Revenues & Expenditures to subtotal when printing to Excel just like it does when printing to screen.
When printing this report to screen it allows subtotals by Class, Function, &/or Department but when printing to excel those options go away.?? Really??
Please allow the same options on this and actually ALL reports when printing to excel as allowed when printing to screen.9 votes -
BILL GROUP PAYMENT BATCH
We would LOVE to have the Bill Group ID option identify the account sub ID number to individually choose the accounts needed in that Bill Group ID, then not all accounts beginning with the same account ID are included. We use the PID associated with a specific apartment complex parcel as our account ID with a unique sub ID for owner and tenants, so when adding a Bill Group ID it adds the Bill Group ID to ALL accounts beginning with that account ID totally disregarding the account sub ID. Print Extra Payment Details on blank paper instead of voiding check stock
If a check has more detail than there is space on the check stub, a separate piece of check stock is voided and the number of checks put into the printer is not enough to complete the run.
It would be helpful if instead of wasting check stock, extra lines of detail would print on plain paper after the checks are printed.
OR
If the system could tell us how many pieces of check stock are needed for a run as well as the number of checks to be printed.

Allow Statement of Revenues & Expenditures to be run by either class id
If the statement of Revenue and Expenditures (Finance>Statement of Revenue and Expenditures) could be Run with an Order by FFund/Class ID 2 it would be much more helpful in preparing government wide financial statements for the CAFR

Add a create PDF and email button in print to screen view
Create a PDF and email button in print to screen view to automatically create a PDF and opens email program to send report. This would be more efficient when wanting to share reports than to select print, changing the printer selection to PDF, creating the PDF and then having to select to email.

Auto fill start and end dates based on Year to Print selection
When printing reports for finance, revenues, expenditures, it would be nice if the Start and End Dates automatically changed based on Year to Print selection made.
If you select prior year, the start and end dates should automatically change to the first date of the prior year and end date of the prior year period.8 votes -
Warning of duplicate invoices
When processing A/P, there should be a warning or pop up whenever there is a duplicate invoice number regardless if the invoice number is entered under a different purchase order containing the same vendor

Print Check Verification Listing when processing PO Quick Entry
Provide a print button on check verification report listing when processing PO Quick Entry. This report is visible on screen only for this process. A button to print the document would be helpful.

Add money to PO by requisition
It would be useful to be able to add additional money to a PO by using another requisition. If the shipping cost was not known at the time of the requisition and the invoice arrives for more than the PO. It would be nice to add this cost to the same PO# instead of voiding the PO and getting a new Req & PO in order to process the invoice. It could be an option in the PO type dropdown list. We use the process of PO generation acts as our pre-audit requirements in NC.

Requisition Sort Order
Currently, in the Requisition Module, the numbering of requisitions only allows for 10 years before having to purge information and re-start numbering R0 - R9. It searches by req# numerically R0 - R9, so if you need to start over from R9 to R0, you have to search thru years R1-R8 to get back the R9 (prior year).
Please add sort by date or add another digit req# prefix, R09, R10, R11, R12, R13, thru to R99. This is frustrating and time-consuming.2 votes -
Add the Ability to Search for a Fixed Asset by last four digits of a serial number.
Adding the ability to search for a fixed asset by a portion of the serial number would be a big help as a large percentage of fixed assets have similar descriptions but unique serial numbers.

Add filter options for printing reports
When printing reports such as expenditure or revenue transaction reports, more filter options would be helpful, such as by dept, by CAFR, etc., so you can limit your report to specific needs.

Add the option to exclude zero balance line items from the budget prep and worksheet
Create an option (check mark box) to exclude zero balances from the budget preparation and budget worksheets. This will shorten the report, and make it much easier to review. It will also help prevent data entry as we try to navigate through all the zero accounts.

Add the ability to run GL, revenue or expenditure reports by account segment.
This is currently available through your account grouping option. But this is very time consuming and leaves too much room for error. We need the ability to capture the County Wide total for single GL segments such as: cash, accounts payable, overtime expense, insurance expense, pension expense, etc. I've attached a sample from our old system.

Tracking ID's - Should not be able to expense once they are inactive
It is my understanding that you can inactivate a tracking ID, but all this does is remove it from pick lists and reports. We experience erroneous charges against tracking ID's once they are inactivated. Would like to see an option of once a tracking ID is inactive, an error would display stating that that tracking ID is unavailable. This could be an option in the tracking ID maintenance to select if you want charges to be applied, even if is inactive.

Ability to select source ID in payment window when using Miscellaneous Payment code
So that tracking payments by source ID functionality will not be lost, it would be beneficial to have the option to select or override the selection of source ID when entering a payment in the payment window for the Misc payment code. Since you can have the option to select the revenue account to post the payment to, then having the option to change the source ID in the payment window would be helpful too.

Abliity to read the last 4 digits of a vendors TAX ID/SSN regardless of the security level.
All security levels should be able to see the last 4 digits in the vendors TAX ID/SSN . This would assist in reducing the duplicate vendor request.

Prenote Checkmark in Vendor Maintenance
Currently, if a vendor has a prenote check mark in vendor maintenance, the prenote does not get sent until the vendor's first payment is issued. The check mark is not automatically removed from the vendor. There is a special routine where you can remove ALL check marks, but there could be vendors who have submitted their ACH information, but payment has not been issued. We would have to manually keep track of the prenotes and manually remove the check marks. We have a few suggestions:

Ability to create an approval process for inventory replenishment requisitions.
Under Department security add the ability to add the inventory GL accounts so that we can create an approval process for inventory replenishment.
