  2. Note Section to PR Check Adjustments

    It would be really great to be able to add a short note in with PR check adjustments so the reason for the adjustment can be easily reviewed.

  4. Handling deferred pay / buy outs

    Change the software to NOT allow a negative pay if a deduction plus taxes bring the net into a negative. Example: In other Payroll software if I pay someone and want to defer as much as possible of the gross, I feed in the gross, the same amount to be deferred and the system knows by priority to take the necessary taxes and then puts the balance towards the deferred deduction and leaves a zero balance.   5. Payroll Tax Information

    At the conclusion of the payroll register detail report, information is contained reflecting the totals for Social Security (Employer + Employee amounts); Medicare (Employer + Employee amounts) and Federal Withholding Amounts; however, if you need to generate a Payroll Register History Report for a particular time period, no tax information is included in this report. For example, I generate the last three pages of the Payroll Register History Report for our bi-weekly payroll along with the G/L Balance Report to retain with my bi-weekly tax filings; however, I have to manually calculate the totals of FWT, Social Security and Medicare…

  6. Allow the system to calculate annual base salary by multiplying amount entered in annual hours ID by hourly rate.

    Allowing the annual base pay to automatically calculate will save data entry time every time rates are adjusted and ensure that reports that include annual pay are correct.

  7. Add PTO accruals to pay stubs

    Each pay period, employees accrue PTO (whether it be vacation or sick time), yet the employees cannot see the accrual rate on their pay stubs. I would like to see a column included on the paystubs to reflect how many hours were accrued during the pay period. This should be located next to the Hours Used/Remaining column.

  8. Social Security Limit alert

    Have the system issue an alert when we are entering a check adjustment routine/third-party sick pay entry and the employee will be overstated for the social security limit for the year. It would be helpful to know this at the time of entry instead of at year end when trying to print the W-2's

  10. Pension/Loan report

    On the Pension/Loan report the default for number of weeks for weekly payroll is 4. Would be great to change this default to 5 to include the few months that have 5 weeks please

  11. Change Direct deposit information in Time Entry Maintenance.

    In Time Entry Maintenance General, under Go to Direct deposit.
    The system looks like you can update or change the Direct deposit information but you can't . You can only delete it. I needed to change Prenote from Y to N during payroll and I had to delete the whole record and add the employees back in. I would like to be able to update the direct deposit during payroll processing if something comes in rather than having to recreate the entire payroll for that employee.

  12. See total hours entered in the Budget Dist. tap

    Our HWY personnel do lots of different jobs (.67 parks, 2.5 water, etc..), it would be great to see a total of those hours while entering them into each department via the Budget Distribution tab of payroll entry, then I'd know that they reached 40 hours.

  13. Addition of Extra Lines in Accrual/Carryover Maintenance Accrual Schedule

    In order to accommodate our vacation accrual schedule we would need 16 lines in the years table.. We are currently tracking accrual changes manually.

  15. Deduction/Earnings history Include zero Balances on Range of check dates.

    Deduction/Earnings history.
    When you choose Detail and Range of Dates you should be able to choose the box "include Zero balances" . I run reports that we send out to vendors matching up with account numbers and I need to see who didn't have a deduction for that payroll. Just the face that you need to see who had a zero deduction is very important with audit.

  16. Direct Deposit and Live Payroll Checks Void and Reissue

    The direct deposit and live payroll checks should have 2 separate check numbers issued so that it would be easier to void a live payroll check. I have checks that are "Void after 60 days" and they need to be reissued. I have to void the live check as well as the direct deposit that the employee has already received. Having to go through the whole payroll process again is cumbersome when all that needs to be done is a reissuance of the check.

  17. Custom Reporting - Multiple Ranges for Dept IDs

    Our DPW Department encompasses a multitude of Department IDs. We would like to generate ONE report and save it to be refreshed with updated data.
    For example: We currently run a report for dept 5110, export that to Excel; run another report for 8160 export to excel, etc. Then copy/paste each department to the original report so that we have a conglomerate of departments that encompass DPW.
    Conversely, we could just put in a range capturing all of DPWs departments and then delete data that we don't need out of Excel, but again, it flies in the face of having…

  18. Separate YTD Regular Hours and YTD Overtime Hours on Direct Deposit Notice

    It would be helpful if paystubs included YTD Regular Hours and YTD Overtime hours separately. Employees have to request a report or calculate it themselves so having those two earning hours broken down on the paystub would alleviate extra work for HR and provide employees the information they need. This would help especially when they see their W-2 and do not understand why their earnings are less in the current calendar year than the previous calendar year, even though their annual salary was higher in the current calendar year.   19. Have an option to replace an attendance code and hours when cancelling a leave request.

    We utilize schedules to populate a 40 hour work week for all of our employees that are not salaried. Currently when someone cancels a leave request their time sheet is updated to remove those hours of leave, so after cancelling leave you need to go into the time sheet to add regular hours back in to make up your 40 hour week. It would be nice if the cancel leave request prompted you to enter a replacement attendance code/hours to update the time sheet in one step.

  20. IRS Employee Withholding Compliance Letters-a checkbox is needed to show that a compliance letter is on file & allowances can't change

    Currently, there is no way to tell in Edmunds if an IRS Withholding Compliance letter has been received for an employee. A checkbox on the employee's Tax Exemption page that would lock the Federal withholding boxes to prevent change to the allowances/withholding is needed.
