  2. Mass Copy of GL and Expenditure Account IDs.

    I want to create a new department in Finance and it is a 2 step process. 1. Create GL Acct #. and 2. Create Expenditure Acct #. To create all the acct numbers for a new department is very time consuming. There should be an easy way to duplicate or mass copy acct numbers.

    Below is how another software handles what I am asking for...

    The "Copy chart of accounts/company code" method is most useful when your chart of accounts is only slightly different from SAP's standard chart of accounts.

    Thank you for your suggestion. The easiest way to add new sub ledger type accounts is to pull up an existing account within that fund prior to clicking add. The original account will be used a template when linking the account to the general ledger. There shouldn’t be too many accounts that need to be changed. Please contact support if you have any additional questions.

  3. Tax Account Labels

    When printing tax account labels for accounts with DEDUCTION ONLY, it is not picking up accounts on which the deductions have been applied MANUALLY; however, it still prints PD5's for these accounts which means the system does recognize the deductions somewhere. Is there anyway this could be changed so it would print labels for ALL deductions, including ones that have been applied manually.

  4. Ability to run the Budget Transaction Inquiry report with a control totals option

    Unlike the “Account Status/Transaction Audit Trail” , the Budget Transaction Inquiry allows you to show when specific transactions are posted in the system. I use the “Budget Transaction Inquiry” screen to make sure that all grant items which were approved within a specific period are actually posted in the system.

  6. Run PO Listing/Status Report for prior Current/Reserve Years

    NJ Finance- The PO Listing can only be run for the system current year and reserve accounts. Would like the ability to run it for previous years current/reserves years. If I were to run the report for all PO's paid in 2013, you would need to run it separately for items charged against 2012 & 2013.

  7. Contract Id Modification

    Could you please set up a special routine to change the contract Id (Cnm_Id). This would make looking up a contract on the "contract maintenance screen" easier if existing contracts could be grouped by category using the contract Id....Thanks

  8. adding a flat penalty to late notices

    For our late notices, we would like the computer add our flat $50.00 reprocessing fee to the "total due after this date" on the bill. Our customers have stated it is very deceiving to not have this reflected in this spot, although this is stated in our "note" on the actual bill. We have to make sure our second notices state, "Please pay by the 15th to avoid the $50.00 reprocessing fee and disconnect."

  9. to be able to page down or go to end of a pick list w/o having to keep clicking the down button

    When bringing up a pick list to do a report, it would be easier to be able to just page down or go to the end of list without having to keep hitting the down button

  10. Need the ability to identify the source of a WIPP transaction-whether web on line, counter on line etc.

    Need to be able to identify more discreetly the source of the transaction-whether thru the municipalities website, thru an e bank tranaction etc. That detail exists thru FIS but can be used locally as well.

  12. Indicate whether the tax amount due has an added bill.

    Would like to see the aesterick next to the pay amount in the payment window when an added, added/omitted or rollback is included in the
    total amount due. We post each amount with a different pay code and this would streamline the process some.

  14. Would like to see more bar graph types in tax rate main

    Would like to see more bar graph type options in the tax rate maintenance so the tax rate can be more accurately displayed in the graphing. We would like to show each component of the tax rate individually.

  15. Add a Comments Box to the Certification of Funds screen and allow comments to print on the certification

  16. "Duplicate Previous Line Item" on Invoices

    When choosing the "Duplicate Previous Line Item" in Invoice Line Item Maintenance, the new line item should be created with the same description, service ID, rate, etc. Currently it only duplicates the description.

  17. Change percentage allowed during budget rollover.

    In the new year rollover in setting up the temporary budget currently the maximum percentage allowed is 99.99%. It would be good to have the capability to rollover 100.00% of the previous year's budget.

  18. Option to include "Sub Account Detail" on the GL Trial Balance and Income Statement

    Have an option to include subsidiary ledger accounts on the Trial Balance and Income Statement reports. This option should display the YTD totals for all accounts in Sub Ledgers that are linked to GL Account. For example, If GL Expense Account is Office Supplies Expense and there are 4 sub accounts in the Expenditure ledger, all 4 Sub Accounts should be displayed and subtotal for that GL Account.

  19. Provide for the ability to schedule monthly payments, such as to schools, county, debt service through a cycle batch.

    Provide the ability to schedule through cycles payments that are scheduled in the future such as school levy, county levy, debt service, etc.

    Thank you for your suggestion. Currently, there is a Recurring Batch function in MCSJ which would accommodate your request. Please contact Support if you have any questions.

  20. Set a default rate on an Attendance Code

    Allow the user to define a specific rate on an attendance code. This will allow there to be several rates for each employee, and works well when the rate is related to the labor being done rather than the employees regular rate. Many users right now link the code to an Earning Code and have to type in the total dollar amount to pay the employee rather than the hours.
