Edit description after batch has been updated.
Would like to be able to edit the description on an entry in a billing or adjustment batch after it has been updated. If a spelling error is discovered after the batch is updated, it would be more convenient to edit it, rather than delete the reference number and re-input.

Capture Salary History for All Pay Categories
Currently only salary changes are reflected on the Salary History tab in Employee Maintenance. Change the system so that all compensation history changes are shown, for salaried and hourly employees, i.e., Reg Rate. We do not use the Salary field for part-time employees and, as the result, there is no Salary History reflected.

Supervisor Access to Time Off Graphic
Provide supervisors the access/ability to see their employees' Time Off graphically as it is displayed in Employee Self Service. This would be a great aid for supervisors to get a "quick look" at attendance patterns and time off used.

The block should have a pick list because that is the portion of the map-block-lot that is unique to the property.
Currently the map field has a pick list but that number is not unique to any one property. The Block is the number that should have a picklist.

When adding a new employee from a "Template Id", create the option to copy the expenditure budget dist ...
Currently the budget expenditure accounts defined in department maintenance are written to the new employee record. When adding from a Template ID it would be useful to have the option to write the budget expenditure from the employee referenced in the Template ID, specifically when split distributions are allocated to different fund or departmental expenditure accounts.

Allow users to Apply or Transfer partial Deposit
From Account Maintenance, when Apply Deposit or Transfer Deposit option is selected, prompt the user to Apply/Transfer "Full Amount" or "Other Amount" where they can enter the value to apply/transfer.

Right now you can't add a project to a requisition only to a po. It would be nice to add the project to a requisition.

Calculate Final Bill Adjustment Routine
We would like the "do not accept online payments" check box to automatically be checked after we calculate the final bill adjustment.

Account Posting Hold
Add a check box on account maintenance screen to stop any posting activity against an account (budget, revenue, G/L) to temporary or permanently freeze any activity for different reasons. This would be useful at end of budget year when department heads use up available budget balances. Normally administrators post a fake requisition to prevent activity.

In the Personnel/HR/Attendance Batch Tab - have the ability to require the description field to be used with specific attendance codes.
Force information in descriptive fields for specific codes (e.g, OT/COMP - describe the project worked on for those hours)

Ability to edit/delete the 'notes' screen when a form letter is generated
Currently, Edmunds indicates when a letter is sent in the notes section, but there is no way to edit or delete the letter that was created. There needs to be a way to do this in case of error.

User History
Would like the ability to see a user history in utility account maintenance, similar to caller ID or "recent places". With this feature you would be able to back track accounts you had recently searched for.

When you click on the notes button, leave the edit button available
I would like to be able to click "Edit" after I already clicked on the notes section. Without having to go back to the previous screen, click edit & then click notes again.

In MCSJ you must select edit to make any changes in account maintenance. This includes adding notes. Thank you for your suggestion.

Trial Balance Report Options
Add the option to not include penalty balances and NSF fee's in the trial balance report so we can more easily tie out to the levy monthly without having to run multiple reports.

Ability to CLOSE or INACTIVATE a Tracking ID
Would be greatly appreciated if we were able to "inactivate" a tracking ID, once the project has been completed. As it is now, the Tracking ID list goes on indefinately. Also add the option in the reports "active/inactive".

Eliminate the requirement to print all verfications to paper or PDF
Some systems permit user NOT to have to print out every verification if they have sufficient security levels. Since MCSJ allows for reproduction of batch verifications using the GL Posting Reference Number it should not be required that the user print every verification. If they have reviewed it on screen and have no errors they should have the option to reduce paper and toner costs without having to maintain a library of PDF files.
