  1. All Finance and payroll reports should have an Excel option.

    Unfortunately, every day a report I need has to be printed to paper and then rekeyed into Excel - from payroll reports we need for audit purposes (like workers comp audits) to finance reports that are standard...all of them need to have an excel option - I know Edmunds was working towards it, but it's critical to some of us.

  2. Add a field in Vendor Inquiry

    Add an invoice number field when in vendor maintenance/detail, so that you don't have to open each invoice to see the invoice number. When a statement is received from a vendor, and you want to check and make sure that you have received each invoice, you currently have to open each invoice individually to see the invoice number.

  3. Ability to do automatic reversing journal entries.

    Revenue and expense accrual journal entries are done at the end of the year or during the year and it would be helpful to put a date in and the journal entry will automatically reverse the journal on the day key into the system. Please see the attached.

  4. Ability to make Finance accounts active or inactive

    Would like to make g/l, revenue and expenditure accounts marked as active or inactive - similar to feature in the Tax Module (3.2).

  6. Need Wildcard *xx* Feature in Searches

    It is difficult, without downloading large quantities of data to excel, to find a particular invoice number in PO inquiry (as an example) when the search only allows for exact match. If looking for invoice 12-345, but someone keyed 1-2345 it will NOT be returned. If we could search by 345 or contains "345" maybe we could find what we are looking for and not duplicate payments.

  7. Limit the Posting Period by User

    Users sometimes post entries inadvertently to prior periods. This creates difficulties reconciling the current period. It also changes the financial records of prior months. Much time is usually spent trying to find and correct the periods. We would therefore like to restrict prior period posting, once a period is closed. Only the Accounting Manager or the CFO should have the ability to post to a prior period. Any entries that need to be made to a prior period would have to get the approval of the Accounting Manager or CFO.

  8. Allow the notes in the Budget Prep area to be carried over from year to year.

    Just as the adopted budget detail carries forward to the next year's budget/revenue prep file, so should the notes. Then they only have to be edited if they have changed from one year to the next instead of re-entered each year.

  10. Voiding checks / payments

    Print report showing G/L effects when voiding a check or invoice payment when using void routine. Now once the routine is run, nothing is printed and the user has to print a separate report to attach to voided check or invoice payment.

    Spell check would be really helpful especially in the "Notes" section on requisitions in the Finance A/P module. It is very time consuming proof-reading and editing all requisitions.

  14. Regarding W-9's

    Regarding W-9's I would like to see boxes on the Vendor Maint Tab 2 to coincide with the actual W-9 Form and be able to check the Federal Tax Classification i.e., individual, C corp, etc.

    When processing A/P, there should be a warning or pop up whenever there is a duplicate invoice number regardless if the invoice number is entered under a different purchase order containing the same vendor

  16. Not having the ability to run the Budget Transaction Inquiry report using Summarize Sub Account for Report Type is a major problem.

    Not having the ability to run the Budget Transaction Inquiry report using Summarize Sub Account for Report Type is a major problem. Having this feature allows the user to review all grants and or other appropriations added to the system during a specific period without having to review each sub line. Look at the option available in The Budget Account Status Screen displayed in the attachment as compare to what you offer in the Budget Transaction Inquiry screen. It will help immensely if we can have those options in the Budget Transaction Inquiry screen.

  17. Print a Batch of PO's by Vendor or Dept.

    Currently PO's when printed can only be printed in the PO sequence order. This is great for when you are printing a copy just to file away or something to that affect. Unfortunately there are other times where you may need to sort the PO's by department or vendor and if you could print by these options it would save time and valuable resources for a department. This should be a simple fix as it's in essence a sort option.

  18. First Enc Date

    The First Enc Date in the Purchase Order Line Item Maintenance would work better if it were left blank but remained a item that was required. Because this field defaults to the current date, many times the default is in a PO when it should be a date from a prior month. By making this change the person entering the PO would have to think about this field and it would prevent having to delete or correct the line items due to the defaulted date.
