  2. Ability to print an account's mailing address directly to an envelope & include the mailing address on Tax Account Detail History printout

    It would be nice to be able to print the mailing information for an account directly to an envelope for returning erroneous checks, mailing out payment history information for income tax purposes etc.
    Why not include the mailing address on the Tax Account Detail History printout so it could be folded and inserted directly into a window envelope?

  3. When NJ Tax Sale File is created, do not force out permitting users

    Everytime the tax sale file is generated or updated, users in all billing modules must log out. In larger towns this causes quite a problem with scheduling when these files can be updated. If a client has permitting/code enforcement, but they do not bill anything from these modules, users in these modules should not be forced out when tax sale files are generated.

  4. Trial Balance Report Options

    Add the option to not include penalty balances and NSF fee's in the trial balance report so we can more easily tie out to the levy monthly without having to run multiple reports.

  5. HAVE THE ASSESSMENT TAB SHOW PRIOR YEAR AND CURRENT YEAR INSTEAD OF CURRENT YEAR AND FUTURE YEAR

    ASSESSMENT TAB TO HAVE PRIOR YEAR AND CURRENT YEAR INSTEAD OF CURRENT YEAR AND FUTURE YEAR. THIS WOULD BE MORE HELPFUL WHEN DOING THE NEW VERSION OF THE PTR FORM FOR THE STATE FREEZE PROGRAM.

  6. Indicate whether the tax amount due has an added bill.

    Would like to see the aesterick next to the pay amount in the payment window when an added, added/omitted or rollback is included in the
    total amount due. We post each amount with a different pay code and this would streamline the process some.

  7. Allow the transdelq file to exclude a minimum balance.

    Taxpayers complain when they get notices from their banks that pay off small balances. Many towns don't send out delinquent notices until balances are over a certain amount. This file should have the same minimum balance function so that banks are not contacting taxpayers about delinquencies before the tax office.

  8. Show amount being posted through the Lien Holder Payment Batch

    When a Lien Holder ID is chosen in the Create Lien Holder Payment Batch, there should be a display of the amount to be collected prior to selecting "Next" and creating the batch. This would allow the user to verify the total before the batch is created.

    After the tax sale is held and information is entered, you can print the Tax Sale Listing in Lien Holder order, which will display the totals for each Lien Holder. Those totals will always be the same as what is pulled into the Lien Holder Payment Batch

  9. Have ability to enter alternate address for lien holders in maintenance.

    A number of lien holders have PO boxes; I require street addresses for 1099’s.
    It would be nice to have the ability to print from an alternate address.

    2 address lines exist in Lien Holder Maintenance.
    1 can contain mailing and the other can be used to store the 1099 address. After further consideration your suggestion has been declined. Thank you and keep on posting! Team Edmunds

  10. Extend the bill message field for more characters

    With the new State requirement regarding posting the tax relief website on the tax bills, it would be helpful if the full website would be printed on one line - with the current set up, the number of characters is not enough

    In the future, this message will be pre-printed on bills. The changes made for this year are temporary and will eventually be unnecessary.

  11. HAVE A REFENCE TO ADDITION PROPERTIES ON MAIN SCREEN

    HAVE A REFERENCE )MESSAGE?) TO ADDITION PROPERTIES ON MAIN PROPERTY SCREEN (IE BILLBOARDS, QFARMS) ....ANOTHER SYSTEM I USE HAS A PLUS MARK TO SHOW THAT ANOTHER PROPERTY EXISTS. THIS WOULD BE HELPFUL TO KNOW WHEN DOING A LOOKUP FOR TAXES DUE, OR RECIEVING A PAYMENT WHEN PEOPLE PAY FOR A REGULAR PROPERTY AND QFARM ON ONE CHECK.

    Thank you for your suggestion. You can add a User Message which will show up in red on the Tax Account Maintenance as well as in the Payment Window. Version 4.1 has 2 additional fields for messages with a total of three. Please contact Support if you have questions regarding upgrading MCSJ to a newer version.

  12. Tax delinquent notices should include both Tax & Utility barcodes when selecting options to include those charges.

    Both barcodes need to show up on the del notice when both amounts are due.... if only Taxes are due then only the tax barcode should show up... and if only Utility is due then only the Utliity barcode should appear.

  13. Have ability to track refunds seperately instead of in regular balance screen.

    By having those credit balances in a seperate screen it makes it easier to give correct open balances (not a net total balance) to resdients calling for a total due.

  15. Print a payment code on receipts

    It would be nice to have the payment code from transactions print directly onto the receipt so the user can see which codes were used based on the printed receipt.

  18. Tax Sale Notice should print current tax interest if only sp. assessments are in sale

    When tax sale notices are printed, and no current tax is in sale, and only special assessments are in sale, no current tax interest prints on notice. This causes the taxpayer to pay less than what is actually due, unless they call in for up to date balances. Client as reference is Medford Township.

  19. Utility history should contain batch ID's for the postings.
