  1. Ability to run the Budget Transaction Inquiry report with a control totals option

    Unlike the “Account Status/Transaction Audit Trail” , the Budget Transaction Inquiry allows you to show when specific transactions are posted in the system. I use the “Budget Transaction Inquiry” screen to make sure that all grant items which were approved within a specific period are actually posted in the system.

  2. Mass Copy of GL and Expenditure Account IDs.

    I want to create a new department in Finance and it is a 2 step process. 1. Create GL Acct #. and 2. Create Expenditure Acct #. To create all the acct numbers for a new department is very time consuming. There should be an easy way to duplicate or mass copy acct numbers.

    Below is how another software handles what I am asking for...

    Thank you for your suggestion. The easiest way to add new sub ledger type accounts is to pull up an existing account within that fund prior to clicking add. The original account will be used a template when linking the account to the general ledger. There shouldn’t be too many accounts that need to be changed. Please contact support if you have any additional questions.

  3. On the Summerized by Transaction screen, could the billing year and period it covers be added?

    When sending a history for the cutomer the summerized transation is a more customer friendly report ,however it doesn't include the actual billing year or period the transactions cover. This would be of great help for the customer to see the periods it coveres.

  4. Add an Option To Print a Batch of PO's by vendor or dept.

    Currently PO's when printed can only be printed in the PO sequence order. This is great for when you are printing a copy just to file away or something to that affect. Unfortunately there are other times where you may need to sort the PO's by department or vendor and if you could print by these options it would save time and valuable resources for a department. This should be a simple fix as it's in essence a sort option.

  5. Change how search results are displayed in utility account status

    When you search by property address, for example Robert Road the search results gives you Robert Road, Robert Circle, Robert Street, etc. and list by the number of house first. So you get 3 Robert Road, 3 Robert Circle, 3 Robert Street when you are only interested in getting Robert Road. Even if you type in Robert Road and not just Robert you still get Robert Circle and Robert Street.

  7. When you click on the notes button, leave the edit button available

    I would like to be able to click "Edit" after I already clicked on the notes section. Without having to go back to the previous screen, click edit & then click notes again.

    Right now you can't add a project to a requisition only to a po. It would be nice to add the project to a requisition.

  10. The block should have a pick list because that is the portion of the map-block-lot that is unique to the property.

    Currently the map field has a pick list but that number is not unique to any one property. The Block is the number that should have a picklist.

    Thank you for your suggestion. The block can be searched. Just leave the lot field blank and the picklist will search for the unique block that is entered. Please contact support if you have any questions.

  11. Supervisor Access to Time Off Graphic

    Provide supervisors the access/ability to see their employees' Time Off graphically as it is displayed in Employee Self Service. This would be a great aid for supervisors to get a "quick look" at attendance patterns and time off used.

  12. Capture Salary History for All Pay Categories

    Currently only salary changes are reflected on the Salary History tab in Employee Maintenance. Change the system so that all compensation history changes are shown, for salaried and hourly employees, i.e., Reg Rate. We do not use the Salary field for part-time employees and, as the result, there is no Salary History reflected.

  14. Allow negative amounts when using payment codes

    We do not currently use MCSJ for our tax and sewer collections, however, I enter payments (daily totals) using payment codes. When I have a bounced check I am unable to back it out using a payment code because I do not enter each individual payment. MCSJ wants to reverse specific payments which makes sense if you are an MCSJ tax module user but not for users who are trying to facilitate their cash receipts reporting using payment codes. Not being able to use negative amounts with payment codes prevents me from easily tying my payment cash receipts report to…

    You may find the detail button helpful in Time Entry Maintenance.

    The payroll register report and time entry listing is the best reports to use when reviewing all employees in a payroll. Specific deductions and earnings can be viewed by running the deduction earning report.

  16. Grant Transactions: Tracking items submitted for reimbursement

    We would like the ability to have a field to track if grant items have been submitted for reimbursement. This would also need to be displayed on Grant reports such as the Transaction Audit trail.

    The check register can be printed to excel, then sorted by the check amount.

  19. Printing of two page PDF POs

    Have the ability to print non-collated PDF POs for 2 page (or more) POs. Currently, Edmunds prints non-collated (1,1,1,1 2,2,2,2) which works for our pre-sorted pre-printed colored paper. It was recommended that we switch to PDF POs, however the only option to print is collated (1,2 1,2 1,2 1,2) which prints on the incorrect color paper for type of copy printed.

  20. Show "Entered By" on purchase order

    It would be much easier, not only for AP, but for the vendor, to know WHO entered the order. It could fit under the vendor box.

    The PO detail will show which user entered the PO. The user who entered the requisition/approvals will only be able to be seen from the requisition level. The requisition number is referenced on the PO for you to easily pull up the requisition.
