  2. Ability to print an account's mailing address directly to an envelope & include the mailing address on Tax Account Detail History printout

    It would be nice to be able to print the mailing information for an account directly to an envelope for returning erroneous checks, mailing out payment history information for income tax purposes etc.
    Why not include the mailing address on the Tax Account Detail History printout so it could be folded and inserted directly into a window envelope?

  3. Allow Editing or Deletion of Payments through Payment Window

    Allow Editing or Deletion of Payments through Payment Window so user does not have to go to the payment batch, delete, and repost.

  4. Edit description after batch has been updated.

    Would like to be able to edit the description on an entry in a billing or adjustment batch after it has been updated. If a spelling error is discovered after the batch is updated, it would be more convenient to edit it, rather than delete the reference number and re-input.

  5. When NJ Tax Sale File is created, do not force out permitting users

    Everytime the tax sale file is generated or updated, users in all billing modules must log out. In larger towns this causes quite a problem with scheduling when these files can be updated. If a client has permitting/code enforcement, but they do not bill anything from these modules, users in these modules should not be forced out when tax sale files are generated.

  6. Option to force users to to change their password

    Would like the option to foruce users to change their password every 90 days or less. This suggestion came from an audit recommendation from the NYS Comptroller's Office.

    When receiving an a PO there is an option to enter an Invoice number. The invoice number by default will be updated to all lines on the PO. If multiple Invoice numbers need to be referenced on a single PO the user should enter each Invoice number on the line item. Thank you for your suggestion. Sincerely, EA Support Team

    Thanks Melinda. How about unlimited search criteria? If you print the Vendor Activity report to the screen you can select the “SEARCH” action button and find what your looking for. You can also print a specific page of the report or range of pages. Thanks Edmund’s Support

  9. Temporary and permanent accounts status flags.

    Would like to be able to mark inactive accounts as temporarily or permanently inactive. And they want to be able run a report every billing period to see just temporarily inactive accounts and review if they should still be inactive.

  10. Allow a comments field on a check batch.

    sometimes you would like to send a message to ALL your vendors - would be nice to have a field to do that in. ie) change of address.

  11. Don't default a Year into Meter Reading, Billing or Balance batches.

    Our fiscal year begins in July so half way through the year the default year in Meter Reading, Billing and Balance batches is for the next calendar year. We would prefer the year not to default and for the user to have to enter the correct year and period for each batch entry.

    Good suggestion, but additional information is received when calculating new rates such as reason, and effective date.

  14. A simple way to correct dates on payment transactions that are entered without have to do each line of a payment group seperately.

    If payment dates are entered incorrectly currently you have to do a reversal for each line of the payment batch--it would be nice to have an option that would reverse the incorrect date for the entire batch and then repost with the correct one for the batch.

  15. Default date to current year when entering mm/dd

    Microsoft applications assume the current year when entering the mm/dd in their programs. It would be nice if Edmunds reports and batches could do the same so that someone doesn't have the enter the full mm/dd/yy every time when the current year is being entered.

  16. PO Status Report - Add a new PO Type option

    When printing a P.O. Status Report add a new P.O. Type Option that would result in all P.O.'s that are not a blanket or P card or contract. In other words "Blank" or "Regular". This would allow a review to identify old "regular" P.O.'s that are open and need to be to be completed or revisited. We find alot of P.O.'s in process that either goods have not been received or documentation has not been obtained. This would not include any blanket, p card or contract P.O.'s that are open as these items are ongoing P.O.'s.

  19. Add the Ability to roll all budget entries at one time by level and add a revenue over expenditure net total to the worksheet.

    Ability to roll all entries in a budget level such as requested to the next level, recommended. Then we only have to touch the accounts that have changed instead of having to touch every account.
    Also..PLEASE add a total line to the budget worksheet that will calculate the difference between revenues and expenditures.

  20. Allow ability to save multiple Work Space types

    Having the abilitiy to save multiple workspaces with a unique name would be helpful for users who wear many hats. For example easily switching from Vendor & PO Maintenance to the Payment Window and Tax Account Maint.
