Accruals Earned Each Payroll
I need a detail report that will generate the amount of vacation accruals earned/ each employee/ EACH PAY PERIOD during the Fiscal Year for the auditors.
Our policy has a MAXIMUM VACATION ACCRUAL THRESHOLD, depending on years of service (YOS).
When an employee meets that threshold, accrual earnings will no longer generate until the employee takes vacation leave.
Often a partial vacation accrual generates to bring that employee to their maximum vacation accrual.
Some employees do not use their vacation in a timely manner, therefore the custom report listing that gives everyone's accrual rates is NOT helpful to DETECT the specific payroll(s) that the employee did not receive the standard vacation accrual for their YOS class.
During the audit, I have to provide a spreadsheet of each payroll accruals earned/taken and balance it with the differences in the beginning/ending leave reports, and document WHY/WHEN some employees DID NOT receive all the vacation accruals that would be standard for their YOS class.
