Pension Information Tab on ESS
We recently implemented and one suggestion I had while training with John Clifford was to put a tab on ESS for an Employees Pension Information.
Coincidentally, the same time we had training, the State of NJ Division of Pension and Benefits announced that they would no longer be providing paper pension benefit statements, and with everything now being more and more on MBOS, a good amount of our employees needed to register online for their pension accounts.
One downside was that no one knew their pension number, which is required for account sign-up.
We ultimately did a mail merged MS Query memo to each employee, but the possibility of having this implemented on ESS would save time on our end, with our limited staff, but would also be beneficial to not only for our employees, but many NJ Clients.
