  1. User Level 1 Vendor Access Has the Ability to View Social Security Numbers in Attachments

Disable social security numbers/tax id with users to access to level 1 security. We have users that would like to be able to view vendors before requesting a new vendor to be added. Users with view access should not see social security numbers/tax id in attached documents.

  2. Create a User Security System that Is user friendly

The admin should be able to allow or limit access to any user. Currently you have to use numbers but no one can tell you what they do or what limitations they have.

You should be able to click each modules and then allow the admin to select what access that user has in each module.

  3. Restrict User Maintenance And Security To Administrators Only.

We would like to see the User Maintenance and Security be restricted to Administrators Only. We have run into several issues that the user needs access to certain functions to perform daily work, but giving them that access also allows the user to have access to User Maintenance.

  4. Automatically log-off idle users after a specified time of inactivity.

For security purposes, especially in the HRPR module, Edmunds should automatically log-off idle users after a specified time of inactivity. there have been times when an employee leaves the module open at the end of the day, and prohibits other users from performing certain task.

  5. Add user security levels to payment batches so that payment batches can't be edited by all users.

Currently, WIPP and Direct Withdrawal payment batches can be edited by anyone once the batch has been created/downloaded into Edmunds.

Someone could then employ a technique called kiting to replace cash collections with a WIPP or Direct Withdrawal transaction.

This is a weakness with any payment batch that can be edited once it has been created.

User Security that would associate a batch with a user and prohibit editing by anyone other than the initial user and, allowing only a management level security to edit WIPP, Direct Withdrawal and Check Aggregation Batches would strengthen this internal control weakness

  6. Users are too easily able to create a new account

According to the 4.1 User document, users have to be a 1 in order to disable the ability for them to create an account, however, if we make them a 1, they will no longer be able to edit and view notes and view secured fields. There is only one user that creates accounts in our agency.

It is too easy to click the add button instead of the edit button.

  7. Restrict users access to payment batches

Would like to see restricted access to edit open payment batches. The person who receives payments should not have the ability to delete or modify transactions posted from the payment window.
