    Right now you can't add a project to a requisition only to a po. It would be nice to add the project to a requisition.

  2. Account Posting Hold

    Add a check box on account maintenance screen to stop any posting activity against an account (budget, revenue, G/L) to temporary or permanently freeze any activity for different reasons. This would be useful at end of budget year when department heads use up available budget balances. Normally administrators post a fake requisition to prevent activity.

  4. Ability to CLOSE or INACTIVATE a Tracking ID

    Would be greatly appreciated if we were able to "inactivate" a tracking ID, once the project has been completed. As it is now, the Tracking ID list goes on indefinately. Also add the option in the reports "active/inactive".

  5. Eliminate the requirement to print all verfications to paper or PDF

    Some systems permit user NOT to have to print out every verification if they have sufficient security levels. Since MCSJ allows for reproduction of batch verifications using the GL Posting Reference Number it should not be required that the user print every verification. If they have reviewed it on screen and have no errors they should have the option to reduce paper and toner costs without having to maintain a library of PDF files.

  6. Print "BLANKET" on purchase orders entered as blankets

    Would it be possible to have the word "BLANKET" print on any purchase order that is a blanket? "CONTRACT" appears on contract purchase orders. That way I would know which po's were blankets when I print them out without having to look in the system.

    Need more information. You can select the detail button from vendor maintenance and select “All POs with Void Lines”. The PO inquiry option by vendor also gives a clear picture of any voided lines. Void checks can be reported using the check register ap report.

    Thanks Melinda. How about unlimited search criteria? If you print the Vendor Activity report to the screen you can select the “SEARCH” action button and find what your looking for. You can also print a specific page of the report or range of pages. Thanks Edmund’s Support

  9. Add an Option To Print a Batch of PO's by vendor or dept.

    Currently PO's when printed can only be printed in the PO sequence order. This is great for when you are printing a copy just to file away or something to that affect. Unfortunately there are other times where you may need to sort the PO's by department or vendor and if you could print by these options it would save time and valuable resources for a department. This should be a simple fix as it's in essence a sort option.

  11. Fixed Asset "Detail" Button- Add Sort by Transaction Type option

    When the user clicks the DETAIL button on Fixed Asset Maintenance, add a Sort by Trans Type Check box so all transaction types are grouped together.

  12. Making scanned documents permanently attached

    After scanning a document you can save it as a PDF. But it also gives you the option to delete the file. I would like there to be an option to save it permamently so it cannot be deleted. (or even better would be to give it a date to delete) I would like to save an electronic file and dispose of the paper copy but if there is an option to delete the electronic file its to risky to throw out the paper file.

  14. Mass Copy of GL and Expenditure Account IDs.

    I want to create a new department in Finance and it is a 2 step process. 1. Create GL Acct #. and 2. Create Expenditure Acct #. To create all the acct numbers for a new department is very time consuming. There should be an easy way to duplicate or mass copy acct numbers.

    Below is how another software handles what I am asking for...

    Thank you for your suggestion. The easiest way to add new sub ledger type accounts is to pull up an existing account within that fund prior to clicking add. The original account will be used a template when linking the account to the general ledger. There shouldn’t be too many accounts that need to be changed. Please contact support if you have any additional questions.

  15. Ability to run the Budget Transaction Inquiry report with a control totals option

    Unlike the “Account Status/Transaction Audit Trail” , the Budget Transaction Inquiry allows you to show when specific transactions are posted in the system. I use the “Budget Transaction Inquiry” screen to make sure that all grant items which were approved within a specific period are actually posted in the system.

  16. Run PO Listing/Status Report for prior Current/Reserve Years

    NJ Finance- The PO Listing can only be run for the system current year and reserve accounts. Would like the ability to run it for previous years current/reserves years. If I were to run the report for all PO's paid in 2013, you would need to run it separately for items charged against 2012 & 2013.

  17. Contract Id Modification

    Could you please set up a special routine to change the contract Id (Cnm_Id). This would make looking up a contract on the "contract maintenance screen" easier if existing contracts could be grouped by category using the contract Id....Thanks

  18. Add a Comments Box to the Certification of Funds screen and allow comments to print on the certification

  19. Change percentage allowed during budget rollover.

    In the new year rollover in setting up the temporary budget currently the maximum percentage allowed is 99.99%. It would be good to have the capability to rollover 100.00% of the previous year's budget.

  20. Option to include "Sub Account Detail" on the GL Trial Balance and Income Statement

    Have an option to include subsidiary ledger accounts on the Trial Balance and Income Statement reports. This option should display the YTD totals for all accounts in Sub Ledgers that are linked to GL Account. For example, If GL Expense Account is Office Supplies Expense and there are 4 sub accounts in the Expenditure ledger, all 4 Sub Accounts should be displayed and subtotal for that GL Account.
