  2. PILOTS

    Add a new module in the Finance section that handles PILOTS. Increasing volume of new Pilots for most towns. Would also like to have a new Tab in the tax maintenance screen that is called PILOT that would show billing and payments. Would provide better control for tax collector, eliminate search company phone calls and tax payer inquiries.

    TAX SALE LISTING SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE RUN BY BANKCODE ORDER FOR BANKS TO REVIEW WHAT ACCOUNTS THEY SERVICE. THEY ALSO REQUIRE IT IN EXCEL FORMAT. SO I RUN A TAX SALE LIST IN AN EXCEL FORMAT AND THEN HAVE TO DELETE FOR EACH BANK THE PROPERTIES THAT ARE NOT SERVICED BY THEM.

  4. When Q1 is enabled, simplify the ability to enter qualifiers to pull up accounts, c0001

    Prior to 2018, the Borough of Wanaque did not have any cell towers that were taxed. The enable Q1 button was not selected in the Collections Parameter Maintenance General screen. When entering B/L/Q we could simply enter the qualifier as such (c0001) and the account would be pulled up. This was simple to do in both Tax Account Maintenance and also in a payment batch.
    In 2018, when the Boro established a cell tower with a qualifier of T01 we discovered we were unable to pull up this specific account. After speaking with Edmunds, we were told that the Q1…

  5. When updating the owner info from the County the deed book/page/sale price need to be included.

    The shortcut to update the owner information from the county tax assessor is nice but you still have to go in and manually change the deed book and page and sale price. It would be helpful if the additional tab was also updated to include this information.

  7. Add parameters on Delinquent File Export

    It would be helpful if you could chose not to send delinquent information that is under $10. It creates homeowners getting notices that the owe 5 cents for past due water/ sewer charges. Corelogic asks for this file quarterly and they supposedly have a filter that eliminates these properties, but they seem to forget to run it even when reminded.

  9. Ability to cancel or edit payment once in the validate screen.

    Once you are in the validate screen, it would be helpful if you can cancel the payment instead of having to go in the payment batch to correct.

  10. Use the automated Tax refund routine to generate refund PO's from previously entered adjustments

    Allow for the refund routine to create refunds for accounts that have already been adjusted for the refund amount.

  11. Tax Bill Message Maintenance

    It would be extremely helpful to have an area that we could store our various tax bill messages.
    So when we go to print our addeds/omitteds/regular tax bills/adjusted tax bills etc...
    In lieu of constantly rewriting the tax bill message
    we could simply go to our message library, and just change the dates on the message to make it applicable to that bill.

  12. Addition to lien holder information in NJ tax

    It would be helpful to be able to have a place to put an address under the Legal Name in the tax lien holder maintenance screen. Many times the lien holder wants one address to be printed on the tax sale certificate and a different name and address for the 1099 form. This causes problems with IRS reporting.

  13. PTR FORMS.

    Mark a record for having a PTR done in current year. Then the following year have a routine that will pull all those accounts, print the new year's ptr2a forms with the legal owner name and a pre-authorized information box of town, collector, etc. This will save a lot of Tax Collector's time and only new or lost forms need to be reprinted. Upon sale of property, the PTR box would be unchecked (along with any ACH information)

  14. Automated Routine for Recording fees

    Would like to see an automated routine for adding recording fees to open liens at time of recording based on lienholder ID numbers. Lienholders are waiting on average 45 days after sale to record. In large municipalities where a lienholder may have hundreds of liens sold this feature would definitely make it more efficient rather than manually typing them in on the lien maint screen one by one.

  15. Re-endorse a check if you fail to do so

    Have the ability to go into the payment batch and select a check number to endorse a check if you forgot to do so. Just like we can go in to print a receipt through the batch.

  17. NJ PTR forms should continue to be available from year to year

    PTR's are requested for back years all the time. The PTR tab allows the information to be retrieved but only prints on the current year forms. The forms should be compiled annually and available indefinitely for future requests. i.e. a 2014-2015 PTR 1A should print on a 2014-2015 PTR 1A Form not on a 2015-2016 form and hand transferred to the proper form.

  19. Is there any way to create a link from a lien holder ID to their contact info in lien holder maintenance?

    I frequently verify redemption amounts with outside lien holders via email so that any discrepancies are dealt with prior to redemption. When running a redemption worksheet via the tax or lien screens, it only gives the lien holders id # and mailing address, no email or phone number... I have to access the lien holder maintenance screen to get that. Any way to create a link from the id# to their contact info?

  20. Special Excel Spreadsheet generated for subsequent charges that can be passed onto lien holders.

    It would be nice to generate a report to excel by lien holder ID that lists each BLQ and Certificate they hold that is open as a row, then each available charge type that is open related to the BLQs as a column so that charges can be broken out. It would be great to be able to project interest to a date of our choosing on these amounts, so that we can pass the spreadsheets onto the lienholders when they request subsequent figures, many times we have to do individual research for each BLQ and project interest out for…
