Posting Ref Report Pull by Both DATE & Transaction # for GJE Ref#'s done retro Show.
Auditors would like to see a report by date range that shows balanced General Journal Entries with their corresponding Ref #'s. Right now, you can pull a report for instance 1/1/19-12/31/19 but the transactions are then out of order. If you pull by trans#, you will get other entries that were made for example in 2020 because 2019 adjustments were made during the audit period in 2020. They would like to see one report by date and transaction number order.

Add a Detail transactions report that provides the actual balance of the account (not the Budget Balance) at a glance.
Please add a DETAIL transactions report that includes the actual GL/TB balance of a single account at a glance without having to add numbers together. Not looking for the budget balance here...the actual general ledger/trial balance balance of the account. Currently..for example...on expenditures, we either have to add expenditures to Purchase Orders Received or subtract the original budget from the budget balance to obtain the actual balance from the detail reports. This is needed for all types of accounts, GL, Revenue and Expenditure.

Have option to override bank account when paying PO
To be able to override the bank account to pay total PO where expense is allocated amongst several funds.

36 votesPDF form PO’s have the capability to print check number and paid date on re-printed PO’s. You may have a customized form, but you can always contact Support for assistance with updates to your forms. No plans to change the PO Listing at this time.

Enable special charges to automatically go to inactive when paid in full like liens go to redeemed.
When liens are redeemed the status automatically changes to redeemed. Special charge accounts should have that ability as well.

Add an option to the delinquency report to print to excel.
This would allow the information to be manipulated to create a shut off list and you could add columns for the operators to place a "terminated date" and "reinstated date" or make a note if unable to shut off and take off information that is not important for the operators like amount past due.

Print PDF Letters out of Animal Licensing Module.
When the rabies vaccination expires we normally send out a canned letter to owners to remind them that it needs to be updated before they are able to renew licenses for the upcoming year. It would be great to get a PDF letter to pull in information from the animal license module pulling in current rabies expiration date and owner/animal info.

Form letter with data pulled from utility billing
Often times I need a standard letter that is sent to the County Health Department. I would like to request a form letter be created that would pull the customer's name, address, and account number from Utility Billing. The form letter primarily states that sanitary sewer is not available to serve their property. The letter would also include the past six months water usages.

Additional Vendor remit addresses
It would be great to have the option of selecting a remit address for a vendor on the Purchase Order. Some vendors have more than one remit address for their company.
0 votesCurrently you can assign an unlimited number of addresses in vendor maintenance under the additional address tab. The address can be selected when entering a requisition or PO/ voucher

Ability to project penalty on delinquent report
Ability to pull delinquent report which would include the projected penalty to a future date that is specified. Additionally this report should be able to print to Excel

Delete A/R Invoices
In the Billing/Collections module, we would like the ability to delete an invoice that was created in error, and to also be able to delete line items.
26 votesThank you for your suggestion. There is a routine in Special Routines called “Delete Range of Invoices” that will delete individual or a range of invoices. Please call Support if you have an questions regarding this routine.

Add a 3rd mailing field for Electronic Tax Sale
State requires 3 mailings for electronic tax sale. Currently Edmunds allows for only 2 so we have to "trick" the system so that the current mailing charge amount is added to the 3rd mailing.
21 votesThank you for your suggestion. A “3rd In Lieu Of” field has been added in Tax Sale Maintenance in version 4.1. Please contact support for information on upgrading to a new MCSJ version.

WIPP interest on Website and payment details
I would like to have interest project out to a 7 days on the website and payment details like the date paid/interest if applicable and total paid for the current and previous year.

Add an email creation button
In Vendor Maintenance, it would be handy to have a button that would open a new outlook email populating the Vendor's email address in the "To..." .

Have a status of cancelled on construction maintenance screen
When a permit is cancelled there is not a way to note that under permit maintenance. It would helpful to add cancelled to the status drop down menu on the Construction Maintenance screen.

TAX ACCOUNT MAINTENANCE - MULTIPLE USER MESSAGE CODES
It would be EXTREMELY helpful to have multiple user message codes on the tax account maintenance screen (like the utility maintenance screen).
We could create and flag accounts for multiple issues such as CASH ONLY, GARAGE, SP CHARGES PENDING, UPDATE FORECLOSURE FEES, ORDER SETTING DTP, to name a few.18 votesThank you for your suggestion.
