  1. Fixed Assets Custom Report

    Ability to create a custom report from Fixed Asset fields much like a custom report for other finance modules, payroll, expenditures, etc. The custom report should be capable to be exported.

  2. Extend the bill message field for more characters

    With the new State requirement regarding posting the tax relief website on the tax bills, it would be helpful if the full website would be printed on one line - with the current set up, the number of characters is not enough

  3. PRINT BILL FROM THE BALANCE/WATER TAB

    ABILITY TO PRINT A BILL FROM THE UTILITY ACCOUNT MAINTENANCE SAME AS THE TAX ACCOUNT MAINTENANCE. AT THE MOMENT WE HAVE TO GO TO THE GENERAL TAB TO DO SO.

  4. Add lot number and lot size to the Custom Permit Report Maintenance Fields

    On Page 2 of the Custom Permit Report, please add Lot Number and Lot Size to the list of Maintenance Fields. I need to do an annual report on new construction that includes total of acres under construction.

  5. Expenditure account status report with drill down

    Add drill down function to expenditure account status report similar to Revenue Account Status report functionality. Further, ONLY include within the drill down transactions that are added to make the total YTD expenditure total for the account. Various transactions that do not effect the final YTD total that is reported in financial reports should NOT be included in the drill down for the expenditure.

  6. Create a User Security System that Is user friendly

    The admin should be able to allow or limit access to any user. Currently you have to use numbers but no one can tell you what they do or what limitations they have.

    You should be able to click each modules and then allow the admin to select what access that user has in each module.

  7. Enha Security Settings for Transaction Approvals - To provide a workflow similar to A/P to other types of transactions

    I believe there should be more workflow settings for approvals to enhance the security and internal controls system-wide. Whether it is a General Ledger Batch, Cash Receipt Batch or Payment Window Batch, [etc.] one user [at a lower security setting] should be responsible for inputting the data and another user for approving the transactions. We use this process now via Adobe files, but it would be nice if different versions of a transaction were documented at that status level by the user who inputted it versus the user that approved it.

  8. Flag payments for Muncipal/Outside Liens in Utility Billing

    There needs to be a way to flag payments on accounts that have municipal and outside liens. I know this works in the Tax Module, why can't it work in the Utility Billing module as well? It should alert the clerk taking the payment asking if they are sure they want to take this payment since it's in Lien. There is nothing that prevents us from accidentally taking a payment for a Municipal Lien which is prohibited since all payments must be made at the Tax office. At the very least the payment batch should have a warning before updating…

  10. Have a print duplicate bill (owner/bill to) option check box in utility account maintenance.

    Would like to keep all accounts on the same cycle that prints both owner and bill to bills, however I would like a checkbox on the utility account maintenance to check off that will allow me to print both or just the tenant a bill so I don't have to put them on a separate cycle.

  11. Personnel report that includes YTD Earnings

    We need a report that includes typical personnel data that can be obtained in the Employee Listing, but it also needs to include an option for YTD earnings (either Fiscal or Calendar). It would be preferable to be in Excel. Cities in Florida receive annual requests for this information. I've attached a sample request that shows all the information needed.

    Suggest adding owner name to condensed version of lien account status report. Had OPRA request and was unable to give them condensed version because owner name not included. Had to give them detail.

  14. to print custom report with "only" option in account field

    To be able to print a custom report with just a specific account field. i.e. to print a report of the only accounts that are "interest exempt" or to print all accounts that are in "bankruptcy". So I do not have to have a report with all accounts

    Value Added, The Scheduler Feature, Time saving, no need to run queries at the frequency needed. The reports are scheduled and run as per requested and are available and ready when needed. Frees up time to do other work.

    HAVE A REFERENCE )MESSAGE?) TO ADDITION PROPERTIES ON MAIN PROPERTY SCREEN (IE BILLBOARDS, QFARMS) ....ANOTHER SYSTEM I USE HAS A PLUS MARK TO SHOW THAT ANOTHER PROPERTY EXISTS. THIS WOULD BE HELPFUL TO KNOW WHEN DOING A LOOKUP FOR TAXES DUE, OR RECIEVING A PAYMENT WHEN PEOPLE PAY FOR A REGULAR PROPERTY AND QFARM ON ONE CHECK.

    Thank you for your suggestion. You can add a User Message which will show up in red on the Tax Account Maintenance as well as in the Payment Window. Version 4.1 has 2 additional fields for messages with a total of three. Please contact Support if you have questions regarding upgrading MCSJ to a newer version.

  18. We need the ability to restrict access to system to more than one individual during End of Year Routine or as we see fit.

    Can we please have the ability to lock all users out of the system except finance and or other designated users? In preparing for the end of year routine individuals within finance understand what entries do not impact the End of Year routine but others may not.

    Thank you for the suggestion. There is currently a way to lock users out of a particular module, while leaving users the ability to have access to another module that is not locked. This can be found off System Utilities > Lock Users Access. Please contact support with any additional questions.

  19. Provide a help button to describe what an option means in a field. That way you can make the correct selection.

    Other than in the most obvious situations, and primarily in set-up situations, a help button that describes what an option means so that you make the correct selection the first time. For example, in the vendor maintenance screen when you have to select the 1099 type. a short description would be very helpful in eliminating making the wrong selection.

  20. Show "Entered By" on purchase order

    It would be much easier, not only for AP, but for the vendor, to know WHO entered the order. It could fit under the vendor box.
